How to lock tokens in Fantasy Grounds

Token locking in Fantasy Grounds is helpful feature for both the Player and the GM. Players benefit from being able to calculate distance and layout their movement. The GM will benefit from knowing the players intended movement. Here's how to do it.

lock2 1 — The GM will right click on any token on the map.

lock3 1 — The radial menu will appear and the GM will click on the Lock icon.

lock4 1 — Tokens are now locked and movement must be approved by the GM.

lock5 1 — The player drags their token to where they want to move.

lock6 1 — To extend movement or change direction, drag the endpoint where you want to move.

lock7 1 — To accept the move, the GM will right click on the players token…

lock8 1 — When the radial menu appears, the GM will click the Accept Move arrow icon.

lock9 3 — The token will then move into the correct position.

lock10 1 — To unlock tokens, the GM will right click on the token to open the radial menu.

lock11 1 — The GM will then click the unlock icon. Tokens will be free to move without GM approval.
