House Rules

Resource Tracking

Resource tracking is active. Your going to need to carry ammo, food, and drink. Projectiles like arrows, bolts, and the like maybe recovered from missed targets only. Magic projectiles, and projectiles that hit a target, will be considered used and non-recoverable.

Long Rests

Long rests will only be permitted when it makes sense in the story's timeline. Long rests will require the expenditure of food items. Please see the next section Camp Supplies.

Camp Supplies

We will be using the Camp Supplies item instead of Rations/waterskeins/etc. Each camp supply is 10 days worth of food/water/etc that you need out on the trail. Uses will be automatically deducted at each long rest. Camp supplies can be purchased in most towns, and may be replenished on the trail by hunting, collecting water, and etc. This will require a random roll on Replenish Camp Supplies table, when situationally appropriate.

Death Saving Throws

Saves are 13, 40% odds of 13 or higher

Massive Damage

Instant Death is applied when a character suffers dame equal or greater than their remaining HP plus their max HP. A DC 10 CON saving throw will be requested. Failing this roll will result in instant death, otherwise the character will be bleeding out and required to make death saving throws on their turn.

Exhaustion

For added in-game realism, if you are reduced to 0 hit points, the Exhaustion 1 effect will be automatically applied at the end of combat. Recovering from exhaustion requires food, water, and a long rest. Magical removal of exhaustion can be used.
